Elmhurst is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Elmhurst is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

In 2026, Bigs Food is a scam! Low prices: one bowl for $11.70+ with one side. When you choose shrimp, they charge an extra $1.50+. When you see your receipt, you realize they charged extra. This isn't the end; they also charge an extra $1.50+ in tax, which is very high. Now, it's your choice!

It seems whenever I visit, they're always out of the Greens. Must be bad luck on my end. I assume it's a popular item. They do make another fresh batch, but it can take 5-10 minutes. I like the food. I just wish they had more vegetarian/vegan friendly options. They had Beyond Chicken for a few years but discontinued it, though that may have been a company-wide decision. They had a tofu dish (or was it eggplant?) as well in 2025, but discontinued it after a few weeks. It's still a good spot for vegetarians and vegans, but the options are low.

I had a very long wait since several items were out and mid-preparation. I was waiting for almost half an hour. The staff noticed that I had been standing in line for a while, and asked for the cook to make the items that I was waiting for first, and gave me an appetizer on the house. Thank you, Mahi and team!

This place tries to steal from its customers. Ordered a bowl with one side and one entree. The lady gives me the classic β€œthe bowl’s the smallest” as if I didn’t know that already. During checkout, they upcharge me for a plate. I call them out on it and they falsely claimed I ordered two sides before eventually fixing their mistake. Really suspicious behavior and customer service was awful. I wonder how many ppl they try to steal from daily who don’t bother fixing or catch their β€œmistake” during checkout. Nice try tho

I think the people who work there are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. I ordered through Uber Eats and both of my dishes were undersizedβ€”not even one. They got both wrong. Drug test your employees. Don't buy disappointing service here.

Panda Express Chinese Kitchen had Club Meal white rice Mushroom Chicken, Apple Crisps, Honest Appley Ever After Juice. Comes in a cute package divided section for rice and chicken.

Really disappointing experience at this location. I ordered through Uber and my order was a mess. I called twice to speak to someone and neither I or the uber rep could get through to someone. I ordered the bigger plate with 2 orders of broccoli beef and one mushroom chicken. They literally sent me a plate of broccoli not one piece of beef to be found and the separate chicken container wasn't even filled halfway. They also forgot my drink.

I had lunch there. Had eaten at Panda Express at many locations. This was the worst. The chowmein was dry and looks like sitting there for long. Beijing beef was not at all fresh. And yeah, the soda tastes really weird. It seems they didn’t refill properly or done something wrong. Not gonna eat again ever.
